INTIX 2010 Toronto

February 2nd, 2010 by admin admin

Worldwide Ticketcraft was in full force at INTIX’s 31st Annual Conference and Exhibition; featuring our new line of TicketHawk™ Desktop Thermal Ticket Printers, a new robust fulfillment service, and of course, our core catalog of quality General Admission & Reserved Seating products, including, thermal tickets, season books, wristbands and roll tickets.

Jackie Kotary, our new Account Manager for FL & NV, shares her INTIX experience with us:

“We had a great time in Toronto for the INTIX show January 26-28.  I was accompanied to the conference by Tim Timco, Duane Knox and Mark Turner. The weather progressively got colder while we were there, but thanks to Toronto’s underground walkway, we didn’t have to go outside very much!  It was great to meet some of our current clients as well as meeting some potential new clients as well.  On Thursday, Worldwide Ticketcraft co-sponsored a tasty breakfast for conference attendees.  We had to rise and shine early that morning, but it was well worth it to do some last minute demos of our new ticket printer to interested clients.  I attended some of the conference workshops and activities including a great presentation by Robin Getman of the InterAct Group. We all had a lot of good laughs and learned a great deal about leadership styles.  I also attended an interesting workshop on dynamic ticket pricing, which continues to be a very hot topic in our business.  As the President of FLOAT (Florida Association of Ticketing), I attended the Regional Associations meeting while I was there.  There were representatives there from seven different regional groups throughout the USA and Canada.  We exchanged some great ideas for events, sponsor opportunities and general operational suggestions.  Finally, on Thursday night, Duane and I attended the closing reception at the CN Tower.  Wow, what a view from their glass elevators and glass floor 1,465 feet in the air!  I am thankful that I was able to not only make new contacts, but also to see old friends and do some valuable networking.”
